Health-led Employment Trial Posted or Updated on 13 Jan 2020

Working Win is a Health-led Employment Trial is a randomised control trial, meaning people who take part will be randomly placed into one of two research groups. One group will be provided with information about local job services as per usual care, and the other group will be given ongoing employment support from an Employment Specialist. The Employment Specialist will work with the patient to create a holistic job plan with them and meet with them roughly every two weeks to review this plan. They will also help with any difficulties the patient experiences along the way for a period of up to 12 months.

Over two years, the aim is to recruit 7,500 residents across Barnsley, Bassetlaw, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield into the trial.
