Under the GMS contract for 2015/2016 all patients who were on the practice list prior to 1st April 2015 should be allocated a named accountable GP by 30th June 2015. The Medical Centre will be informing patients at the first appropriate interaction with the Practice.
At our Practice Dr Khan is allocated on registration, but you are still able to see a different GP. If you are unclear who your named accountable GP is you can ask for this information when you call in or telephone. If you feel you would like a different GP to be allocated to you then this again can be requested and we will do our best to accommodate that.
You are still free to see any GP and in particular when a different GP may have a sooner or more convenient appointment for your needs. You may also be required to see or speak to alternative GPs particularly in urgent situations or if a home visit is required.
